Each year, our Landell community recognizes exceptional teachers, staff, parents, PTA members and community members that support our school. This statewide PTA sponsored program recognizes individuals for their outstanding service to our students and school community.

Awards are presented by Landell PTA and California State PTA. The HSA Program includes the Very Special Person Award, the Honorary Service Award, the Continuing Honorary Service Award, the Golden Oak Service Award, the Outstanding Teacher Award, the Outstanding Administrator Award, and Elected Official Honorary Service Award, as outlined below. A person may receive more than one award.

The Very Special Person (VSP) Award may be given to individuals who provide dedicated service to our youth through leadership roles in our school and community.
An Honorary Service Award (HSA) may be given to individuals who provide outstanding service to our youth in a special way through support in various school or PTA events
A Continuing Honorary Service Award (CHSA) may be given to individuals making significant contributions to the welfare of our youth over a continued period of time. The recipient should have received a Honorary Service Award previously.
The Outstanding Teacher Award may be given to a teacher in special recognition for outstanding service in positively impacting the lives and welfare of children and youth in the school and community.
The Outstanding Administrator Award may be given to an administrator in special recognition for outstanding service in positively impacting the lives and welfare of children and youth in the school and community.
The Golden Oak Service Award is the most prestigious PTA award in California. This award may be given to individuals making significant and unwavering contributions to the welfare of children and youth through dedication and service to the school community.
